If you’re the original owner and purchased your Egg from an authorized dealer, it’s time to secure your investment with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Fast and Easy Registration

When I initially heard about the Open Warranty Enrollment, I procrastinated on registering my 16 year old Large Big Green Egg, because I didn't want to go through a lengthy process.  However, once I actually got around to doing it, I found that Big Green Egg has made the process very simple. I was able to complete the form and uploaded a couple of pictures of my Egg in about 5 minutes using my iPhone.

Here’s everything you need to know about the warranty registration process, and why this open enrollment period is the perfect opportunity to get your Egg covered—without the need for proof of purchase!

Why Should You Register Your Big Green Egg?

Your Big Green Egg is an investment, and registering it for warranty coverage ensures you are protected in case of any manufacturing issues. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, providing you with peace of mind for the life of your Egg. Whether you’ve misplaced your proof of purchase or simply forgot to register, this open enrollment period is your golden ticket to secure your warranty.

Who Qualifies for Warranty Registration?

During this special open enrollment period, you are eligible to register your Egg if:

  • You are the original owner of the Big Green Egg.
  • You purchased it from an authorized dealer.
  • Your Egg has not yet been registered.
  • You’ve lost your proof of purchase.

After October 6, 2024, proof of purchase will once again be required to complete the registration process, so now is the perfect time to get your Egg covered.

How to Register Your Egg

  1. Check if Your Egg is Already Registered: If you’re unsure whether you’ve previously registered your Egg, you can visit the Warranty Claim page and start a claim. Enter your email, and the system will show if any of your Eggs are already registered under your account.
  2. Register Your Egg: If your Egg isn’t registered yet, head over to the Open Enrollment page and follow the instructions. It’s a straightforward process—just enter the necessary details, including the serial number found on your Egg, and you’re good to go!
  3. Lost Access to Your Old Email? No problem! If you no longer have access to the email you used when purchasing your Egg, simply contact Big Green Egg support at Open Enrollment page today and secure your Limited Lifetime Warranty

What to Expect During the Process

Many users on the Big Green Egg forum have shared their experiences with the warranty registration process, and most have found it to be quick and easy. One user, MaskedMarvel, registered three unregistered Eggs and got a confirmation within minutes! Others have praised the streamlined claim process for repairs and part replacements.

However, a few users have reported minor hiccups, such as issues with email verification codes or missing Eggs in their accounts. If you encounter any problems, don’t hesitate to contact support—they’re ready to help make sure your registration is successful.

Important Tips

  • If you’re registering multiple Eggs, make sure each one is listed individually in your account.
  • Take photos of your Egg’s serial number before you start the registration, just in case you need to reference it later.
  • If your Egg was purchased in Canada, stay tuned for updates, as Big Green Egg is working on a new warranty process for Canadian customers.
